What is your favorite type of desert?!
Answers:
To tell you the truth I like my own desserts most of the time. I love chocolate/mocha cake and it was always a favorite with my kids. I also love Italian Tiramisu because it is so light and creamy.
1. My mom's peanut butter cream cheese pie with an oreo pie crust
2. My Lemonade cake... the recipe is on the betty crocker website but I use cool-whip and I put fresh lemon zest on the top to make it look pretty... lol
3. Really good cheese cake
4. My mom's homemade rice pudding... yum yum!
5. My mom's pineapple upside down cake!!! It is so good!!! that is why she doesn't make it a lot because it is so bad for you! I haven't had it in over 2 years!!!
6. My mom's homemade egg custard pie with her homemade pie crust...
7. My aunt's red velvet whoopie pies with her homemade marshmallow frosting... btw, Whoopie pies are a Pennsylvania dutch/(Only Pennsylvania) Amish people... Only the ones from Lancaster not from Ohio
8. These little tart things from this local Amish bake shop I think it was called Miller's and they made the very best tarts! It was kind of like a cheese cake and kind of like an egg custard pie!!! Really good and the lemon ones were SO good too! And they were only like .50 and I will never have one again because I got it from a very rural part of Ohio were it is mostly populated by Mennonite and Amish villages... It was so pretty to see though!!!
As you can see my mom is a really good cook! She learned from her grandparents who both make delicious desserts.... I am not very picky, I just don't like nuts....
I have been to 47 of the 50 states and have tried a lot of desserts... The amish literally creamed the rest of the 45 states I have been too because both Ohio and Pennsylvania have large Amish population
