how long can an apple stay in room temperature before going bad?!
i'm sick and my parents brought me four apples to my room. should i just leave them sitting here or should i go and put them in the fridge?

About a week, as long as they're undamaged. I never keep my apples in the fridge.
A whole apple without any holes? Days, even weeks.I would not throw it away at any set time, but I would put it in the refrigerator anyway--unless you don't want one cold.
On the other hand, there is the security issue. Apples put in the refrigerator could get eaten by passersby.
