I want to lose weight but I also want to boost my metabolism. I currently substitute breakfast with a fruit smoothie eat a small meal for lunch and dinner and run at nights. Will it help or should I try a different approach.

Answers:

That sounds like a very good choice! I wouldn't substitute any other meals for a smoothie, though. Eat a good dinner and something for lunch and the smoothie in the morning and you should be good.

It depends on what you are putting in the smoothie. If it is loaded with too much sugar and calories then I would say it's bad, but if it's healthy and it keeps you feeling full then it sounds ok.

I don't see why it would be unwise.. its pretty much the same as just eating fruit instead of the meal.. right?
