Question: Could I eat Quinoa in my cereal without cooking it?

Technically, yes, but it might not taste very good. Or it might hurt your teeth.

You can eat pretty much any grain uncooked - rice, oats, wheat, corn, millet, whatever - but cooking makes it a lot easier. Quinoa freezes well. You might want to consider cooking a large pot's worth, freezing it in small batches, and then removing it to thaw out the night before.



Also, to the release the nutrients you my want to cook it for a short period of time.



I think you should at least sprout it first.
