can you get sick/die from eating hot chocolate mix?!

Question: Can you get sick/die from eating hot chocolate mix?
I like to eat hot chocolate mix and I never really asked anyone if it could get me sick or possibly harm my body. Can it? Or is it fine to eat?

If you ate nothing but hot chocolate mix for a long time, sure, you'll die from malnutrition.

But snacking on it now and then won't make you sick or anything.

If you have too much of it, sure, anything's possible and you can die from too much water.

Inhaling it would prolly be the worst thing you could realistically do, and it's not like you're going to get lung cancer from that. You're prolly safe, it's made for people to intake.

yeah it's fine to eat up to 2-3 tablespoons at a time but more than that every 2 hours or so can get you sick depending on your body. more than 2 cups in an hour can prove to be fatal. go ahead, but limit yourself.

No... not if you eat it every so often. If that's all you eat, then yes, most likely. The sugar could do something too but not any worse then a slice of cake would... It's just missing water nothing's wrong with the powder.

why would it hurt you when it is dry but be just fine once you mix it with hot water??
If you happen to inhale the dry powder you could choke to death but other than that you are good to go.

Hell no. I mix mine with butter and spread it on toast, that is some good eatin'.

I eat it dry all the time, it goes powdery and creamy in your mouth. Ummmm

The only way you could die from eating hot chocolate mix is if you're a brittle diabetic or if it was laced with poison.

Otherwise, eat away!

If it were dangerous, it would have a warning label. It can potentially harm your body eventually because it's pretty much ALL sugar

You're not going to die

yes.......but dont trust a random stanger XD
