Is the Sugar Free Instant Jello Puddings bad for me?!

Question: Is the Sugar Free Instant Jello Puddings bad for me?
I run four times a week and weight train twice a week. I am very active. The thing is, I'm a recovering anorexic and I only eat around 900-1200 calories a day.

My diet is very good, I stay totally away from fatty foods and stick with healthier foods.

I am a big fan of the Jello Sugar-free Instant Pudding. They are 70 calories for half a cup. I make them with 1% milk and have them once a day.

I want to make sure this is not making me gain weight, I figured since this pudding is made mostly out of milk its a good way of getting my dairy in my day.

I eat very healthy ALL DAY and its sorta like my treat because it tastes AMAZING.

Is this ok?

Answers:

70 calories is nothing and you already know it won't make you gain weight. You really do need more calories to stay healthy. Just make sure they are healthy calories. It takes over 3,000 calories to gain one pound if you aren't burning any at all from exercise. You need to talk to a nutritionist about this.

You did not say how much you weigh now.
900-1200 calories is pretty low considering your body needs that many just to function, never mind the working out you are doing.
Staying away from all fat isn't a very good thing either. your skin and hair needs fats as do your brain cells. You can eat healthy fats, like olive oil, avocados and the fat that is in nuts and fish.
Yes your pudding is okay.
Cut yourself some slack.
Gaining a couple of pounds is not the end of the world.

Whether you are healthy or not, Sugar Free Instant Jello Puddings are processed and probably bad for you. I suggest switching to plain yogurt with fruit. I put apple sauce and cinnamon on my yogurt, it is so good.
