No, you'll probably get sick since it's being gone off for 8 months.

Somebody who was serving us in a supermarket, I was about to buy something but it was gone off and she said you'd get/feel sick

It's unlikely to be bad but it's probably lost a lot of its flavour. Meat and fish can keep for between 3 and 6 months in the freezer, exceptionally up to a year. If your freezer is working correctly, it shouldn't go off in that time, in fact it might still be edible after several years, but it loses its flavour and becomes unpalatable.

I don't think so, i remember a while ago i was gonna cook a piece of fish that was in the freezer and it smelt horrible, then i read on the packet once frozen eat within a month of freezing... but that could have just been that particular type of fish

If it has been frozen the whole time - then it is good.

Freezing meat extends the life of it past the best before date. As long as there is no freezer burn on it, it will be good.

It probably will not have a good texture by now but it is not likely to give you food poisoning. Don't think I would fancy it myself.

I wouldnt touch it. I would only eat something that has been frozen at tops for 3 months thats it.

Yes

Hell no
