Microwave food isn't good for you?!

Question: Microwave food isn't good for you?
I've heard that it kills all of the nutrients so it is basically bulk. Will that stop you from eating microwaved food? It won't stop me.

Answers:

You might have heard this from people who practice raw food diets, but a microwave does not suck all the nutrients out of food. When you cook veggies in any manner for instance, a small amount of the nutrients are lost. But when you peel a potato you are also removing some of the nutrients. Keep microwaving and enjoy, you are absolutely fine and not just consuming bulk. If it turned to bulk you could eat cardboard just the same as microwaved food. LOL

On the contrary. If you cook veg in the mircrowave you are likely to use very little water, so don't wash out all the vitamins. (Veg such as broccoli also keeps its colour far better). You can also use the microwave to steam food, eg meat, so fat-free cooking is easier and much healthier.

"I thought it was complete bullshit*t because I always eat microwaved."
