Watching my sugar consumption and someone from work brought me a traditional Thai tea (orange color, and sweet)

I agree with the other answer. I'd avoid it if I'm watching my sugar intake. This kind of tea is generally too sweet, i live in thailand all my life and have never found one place that the orange tea is not too sweet! Plus they usually make a lot of it at one time so you can't really ask them to reduce the sugar/sweetened condensed milk they add in. But if you really like it, you can buy the tea leaf and make your own - that way you can control the sugar, it's really easy to make too :)

I don't think you would like to drink it since you are watching your sugar intake, it is sweetened with sugar and condensed milk, not forgetting evaporated milk / coconut milk / whole milk is poured over the tea before serving so its really very sweet.
Can't tell exactly how much sugar in it as the quantity may vary from vendors to vendors but should be about 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of condensed milk.
