Question: Does eating prunes have the same effect as drinking prune juice?
For constipation, i want to take chocolate covered prunes but don't know if that has the same effect as drinking prune juice. Is any which one better then the other

nope, one is not better than the other and yup it will have the same effect.



They're both effective, but I would avoid the chocolate. It's not very healthy. You can also try probiotic supplements (like acidophilus) to help your digestion. All the fiber in the world won't cure you if you don't have the right kind of beneficial bacteria in your colon. Probiotics don't give you that bloated feeling, either.

No it does not, the chocolate cover prunes you would like to try are going to fill you up more plus will not have the same efect as if you will take the prune juice alone.



They will both work well, to about the same extent, but I think the fruit itself would be the better because of its fibre.
