What looks like a quiche, but isn't a quiche...?!

Question: What looks like a quiche, but isn't a quiche...?
This is going to sound like a really strange question, but what sort of foods look like quiche, without actually BEING quiche?

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps!

Answers:

cheese tart
cheese and onion tart
onion tart
onion flan ( in UK and NZ, Aus, a flan is an open shallow pie, or tart.)
bacon and cheese tart
Tomato cheese and egg tart
egg and cheese tart

OK you see where I'm going?

Quiche is a low, shallow pastry filled with custard- milk, egg and other ingredients, like cheese, bacon, asparagus and so on. So, any shallow fluted pastry with a pale filling will look the same.

If it looks like a quiche, smells like a quiche and tastes like a quiche - its a quiche. If it doesn't fit that criteria then it was never a quiche to start with so your question is the right answer "when it's its not a quiche. cheers doc.
