Is it ok to eat some fruit if you have Candida?!

Question: Is it ok to eat some fruit if you have Candida?
The only thing I'm still eating that I can think of that maybe causing candida reaction are blueberries, but I heard they are very low in sugar. I mix like half a cup of this with almond milk in a blender, do you think it'll be a better idea to go cold turkey on all fruit? I just can't seem to live without some sugar intake.

Sugar can be the culprit but you might also examine any fermented or mycoid foods in your diet. People don't think about things like vinegar, beer, wine, pickles, yogurt, pickles and mushrooms, but they can cause a problem.
Fruits low in sugar are rhubabr, raspberries, blackberries and cranberries. Strawberries are low to medium sugar content. Good luck.

Berries are very low on the GI. Keep eating berries and fruit just make sure you are balancing it with fats and protiens. If your blood sugar goes high, then the Candida will grow more.

You might want to consider eating your berries with yogurt instead of the almond milk. You can buy or make almond and soy yogurt if you are opposed to dairy.

Good luck.
