Is there really pus and blood in milk?!

Question: Is there really pus and blood in milk?
I read an article about it, and once I looked into it almost everyone said there was! But some people say pasteurization removes that, or it's "illegal" to sell it with that stuff in there. Is that true? I haven't touched milk or cheese since and I love both :/

Milk is a very clean substance even when fresh out of a healthy cow, the cows body has ways of keeping contaminants out, and unhealthy cows that would produce bad milk are weeded out by the dairy farmers.

Put out of your mind that you are eating any kind of pure food. It is a fairly well known fact that breakfast cereals (for instance) can have a low percentage of contaminants, such as insects, as part of the content. You should have no health concerns about pasteurized milk or any kind of cheese. I'm sure that there are additives in food products that are somewhat harmful to health and some impurities and chemicals in our tap water that should concern us, but worrying about it will not do you any good. Within reason eat healthy foods that you like, the least processed the better.

Yes you do get puss and blood in milk, in England the rules are very strict about the percentage of puss and blood.
The Americans don't really have strict rules about the levels of puss and blood and there for you'd find a lot more of it in their milk.
If you like milk and cheese, I wouldn't worry about it.......if you think thats bad you should see how they make sweets!.x

Yes, and that's not the worst of it. Most commercial cow's milk (in the U.S.) has lots of bacteria, antibiotics, and bovine growth hormones. Pasteurization kills off several types of bacteria, but the end product is still filthy. Pasteurization and homogenization make milk indigestible and dangerous to your health. Rice Dream, anyone?
