Is drinking the blood of christ and eating his flesh paganistic?!

Question: Is drinking the blood of christ and eating his flesh paganistic?
even if you are a christian doesn't it strike you as an odd ritual? Or does it just fall under the "I just blindly do what i'm told without ever questioning it' category

Answers:

It is more of a symbolic act we don't actually believe we are eating his flesh and drinking his blood. It is to remind us that he gave up his life for ours.

it is not like we get in from a hard days at work open the fridge and go "Oh blood of christ! nom nom nom!!!"

I also think you question was posted in the wrong category, I wonder why that was? Simple mistake or not brave enough to post it under religion?

Umm, you do know it's not really his flesh and blood, right? You do know it's just a pretty basic symbol of accepting Him as the 'bread of life', right? What's the big deal?

I dont think drinking christ his blood and eating his flesh is a good idea :O
i think after those 2011 years it might be a bit.... out of date :P

At the Last Supper Jesus said to ...Eat my flesh and drink my blood in remembrance of me. so no it is not pasganistic.
