HISTORY PROJECT HELP PLEASE?!

Question: HISTORY PROJECT HELP PLEASE?
For my history homework, I have to make a motte and bailey castle. Out of anything. Me and Courtney (my friend) decided to do it out of sweets! We were thinking a jelly for the motte, choc fingers for the palisade, keep and drawbridge and a cardboard base/plate to put it all on!
We've got a problem though- how do we stick the Fingers to the jelly??

Please help as soon as you can, maybe give ideas of a history project similar?
--Thank you!! xx

I think the jelly goes quite cool before it sets properly so stick 'em in then.
An idea may be to let the jelly set then send something warm into where you want to put the fingers and then slide them in and the jelly will re-set around them. Not tried it myself but it may be a better idea than my first one

Sticke them into the jelly, Use some sort of wire specifically made for the catering industry, or instead of using jelly, you could use cake!

I would just place them on and definitely do not use icing coz it melts into the jelly and looks groooss

with honey?
