Mushy peas.
Many people who have illness have pureed meals where all of their veggies are blitzed.
With mashed spuds I will often add peas or other veggies like parsnips, carrots, pumpkin and other soft vegetables.
Parsnips and carrots together are a favourite.

You will be surprised by how much pressure you can make by mushing up foods between your tongue and palate.
