Not long. I'm not sure that I would be as generous as three hours. Meats, fish and dairy products carry within them baccilli that don't normally make us sick until they are left in a warm place to reproduce. I would not trust a ham sandwich -- no matter how it has been packaged -- left unrefridgerated for more than a couple of hours. The chance for food poisoning is just too great. I'd toss it and find something else to eat.

As long as it is in a sealed contain, preferably an zip lock bag and kept in a cold place it would last 2-3 days.

It only takes 2 hours for bacteria to start to grow in perishable foods at temperatures between 40F and 140F.

3 hours if you're lucky. xD

experixence.
