Can my dog eat anything containing salt?!

Well, he probably couldn't eat the ocean. That certainly has salt in it, but it's much too big for any dog to eat.
It's quite possible your dog could eat other things containing salt. It depends on how big your dog is, how much of an appetite he or she has, and how appetizing your dog finds salty things to be. This is clearly a complicated issue with many variables. Wish I could be more helpful.
