Many of these diet supplement companies are going online only.
That way when you figure out their product doesn't work, you can't just take it back to a physical store and try and get your money back.
You have to call and get a return authorization number, you have to pay for shipping, and in most cases there is a restock fee or they won't accept open containers.
With these restrictions, the refund rate for their crap stays below 5%.
So even if 95% of their customers are unsatisfied, they end up only refunding about 5% of their sales. Pretty good profit margin!
If the product works, why do they make it so hard to return and refund?
Spend your money in the produce department at your local grocery.
