Hello Miss Bella,

I'm a avid user of fresh LEMONS! Lemons are high in vitamin C, have an anti-bacterial effect and are thought to poses antioxidant and anti-carcinogenic properties. The juice consists of about 5% acid, which also makes them useful for a variety of household purposes.

For blemishes: Mix the juice of one medium lemon with one tablespoon of honey and apply to clean face. Rinse. Your skin will be glowing and future blemishes are greatly reduced.

They are great for rinsing your hair to get all the residue from gels and sprays.

Ant deterrent: Pouring lemon juice around areas that ants frequent is said to repel them.
The also are great for adding to you polish for furniture.

When I'm out of buttermilk, I simply add lemon juice to whole milk, voila, I've got buttermilk!

The list is endless!
Try a few of those usages I've suggested. Oh, also add the grinds to your cooking recipes, just fabulous in lemon desserts! I'm hoping all this is helpful to you in the future!!
