Butter or Spreads (Margarine) which do you think is healtheir?!

Question: Butter or Spreads (Margarine) which do you think is healtheir?
Answers:

There are big differences between brands of margarine. Many contain transfats which are bad news healthwise.

But Flora has only the tiniest trace of transfats but lots of good fats (polyunsaturates and monounsaturates, which improve your good cholesterol and get rid of the bad) so that's what I use.

Butter may be natural, and I use it for certain things, but it is high in saturated fat which increases bad cholesterol and is all-too prevalent in our diets.

A thin spreading of butter, spreads and marg have a pile of additives. My husband likes to see teeth marks in the butter when he bites into his bread and butter and that is not good.

Butter is better because it's not full of all the artificial junk in margarine. They both have high fat contents, but butter is the healthier one to choose.

Butter is better, although higher in saturated fats, it doesn't have chemical additives like margarine.
