why are my sunflower seeds green?!

Question: Why are my sunflower seeds green?
i'm trying to increase my intake of unsaturated fat, so i bought roasted unsalted sunflower seeds. i googled sunflower seeds and it shows picture of them being white and black. so... why are my sunflower seeds green? they taste okay.. actually they don't taste like anything ( definately not rancid... at least, i don't think so...)
Thanks!

the shell is black and white(that`s how the center of the flower is colored) the inside however can vary from green to white dso don`t sweat it!

I eat sunflower seeds ALL the time

The shell is black and white. The inside, the part you eat, is green. Sometimes I think it's brown but I know it can be green.

google it
