I need help finding a good protein supplement?!

Question: I need help finding a good protein supplement?
I am a 15 year old female and I play about 5 hours of tennis every day. I try to eat healthy, but I have been told plenty of times that I need to start working out in the gym and start eating or drinking some type of protein shake or something like that.

The thing is that I I know nothing about protein shakes or anything like that. I could really use some help here.

I like smoothies and shakes. From smoothie king I will usually get the Caribbean Way, but I don't put protein or anything like that in it because I do not know what to get or want to ruin the taste.

Do any of you have any suggestions on what I should try? Maybe a powder to put in a drink or a shake that I would put in a blender or something? Again, I don't know anything about this sort of stuff, so the more info you can give the better!

Thanks to everyone for all of the help!

Who told you this stuff? Are you sure they're right? Why would do you have to start working out in the gym when you already play sports five hours a day?? Are you sure you're not already getting the protein you need from your diet? If you eat or drink a decent amount of meat, fish, beans, eggs, soy and dairy produce you probably get enough already.

But whatever - if you really wanna do it the only advice I have is keep it natural and use either a natural additive-free whey protein, or ground hempseed (really good for you and includes healthy fats as well, which can reduce your body's levels of bad fats). You can get both at health food shops, and add them to smoothies The hempseed can be added to or sprinkled over pretty much anything in fact - I used to have it on my cereal. Don't worry about the taste - it's mild and not unpleasant.

If you don't eat regular meals and need to build muscles fast, and if your diet is based on sweet bread and snacks i can understand that you might need some supplement. You are building your body to last for 70 years or more so you better use some "Good bricks"
You have to contact someone neutral that can guide you into this jungle of additive sellers and users. Humans have lived for 100 000s of years without protein powder. Milk, milk products, eggs, fish, meat and whole grain cereals will provide you with the natural proteins that your body is ment to be build of.

Be smart and don't fall into some fashion additive trap that will only free you from too much money.

The best of luck to you and your tennis.
