Question: What food did you enjoy when you were growing up, but won't touch now?
Me: Cottage cheese.

Answers:

KOOL AID I drank too much of that sugary crap.It made all the kids in the family sugar addicts to the point of going to the penny candy store across from school every day. yes I am old.

Boxed, frozen Steak-umms were one of my favorites growing up. I especially liked the cheese filled Steak-umms. Now they are too greasy for me, like they are dipped in Crisco.

I avoid the gripping candies like salt water taffy and Tootsie Rolls too, like AMOD. It feels like they will pull off my gold crown.

Ha this made me think, my biggest one was probably toffee, mum used to make toffee in little paper patties with hundreds and thousands on them, they would take forever to eat and were so sickeningly sweet but we loved them, i wouldnt touch them now for the life of me.

Pop-Tarts and most sugary cereals, and my mom's bbq chicken, to be specific. And my parents say I loved liver & onions as a kid but I don't remember that.

I've been vegetarian since 1992 and vegan since 2000, so a lot of things would actually fall into this category for me.

>I know you will say "ewe" but my parents used to fry up pig brains and eat them. They really relished this. But they were not my favorite. Come to find out, brains have the highest level of cholestrol of ANY food. I happen to have a high cholesterol problem, and I am not missing them.
