Anyone else have pet peeves about their milk?!

I love fat free milk! I will not drink milk after anyone and i will not borrow milk ya never know the people you borrow it from might drink outta the container that would be sick.The milk cant be anywhere near the expiration date at home or when it's bought at the store and i use milk within a week of it being opened.I will not buy milk from gas stations and it has to be in the plastic and not the paper carton.

Awesome question some of the answers made me laugh and yet i thought i was the only one picky about Milk.

I do...I won't borrow milk from a neighbor for a recipe because I don't know if they stand in the door at night and drink it from the jug
mine also has to be whole milk
and I don't care how much I love you, don't drink it from my glass

My husband is the same way as you about the milk being super cold and if there is only an inch left in the gallon, he won't touch that

That's probably because it came out of a raped heifer's teat. Try drinking non-animal milks. I used to be picky about cow's milk too, until I stopped drinking it. It always seemed warm to me, even after I just poured it from the jug. And it made me nauseous if I ate it in cereal that had been sitting out for a minute. Soy milk is always cold and delish, almond milk is crisp and doesn't leave that gross "milk tongue" farty aftertaste, rice milk is just watery, and hemp milk is thick and creamy. My pet peeves went away when I switched milks! :)

cows milk leaves a film in your mouth, and it's acidic tasting, slightly icky and just leaves a gross acidic film that you know will smell when you breathe on people.

My peeve is only being offered cows milk, I love soymilk, almond milk and all the bean milks common in Asia- mung bean milk, black bean milk, walnut milk, and a mix of them- they'll do walnut, and barley milk together, it's really good.
Any milk that isn't crisp and cold.

I can only drink out of a clear GLASS glass. No plastic glasses, and it has to be at my house.

I feel sick looking at peoples milk leftovers in a cereal bowl

And i hate it when my family leave the milk out all day and its not cold anymore -_-

I perfer to mix it with chocolate syrup. And I wont drink non fat milk, or 1% milk straight without any kind of flavor. I can only drink whole milk striaght.

Funny thing - My brother-in-law is a dairy farmer, Some of the guys who work with him, drink milk straight from the cow. Warm but they love it and are never sick.

Same here. When I do drink it, which is rare, it has to be fresh and really, really cold.

Can't say that I do.=)
