Is cooked chicken with some of the feathers still on it bad?!

Question: Is cooked chicken with some of the feathers still on it bad?
I just ate chinese food and I was eating honey chicken when I got a piece with a few feathers I guess they forgot to pluck off. Lost my appetite by the way, But I was wondering if this was bad or harmful in any way?

Answers:

most raw chicken has a feather or 2 still on it and many times I have bought rotisserie chicken and the wings often have a few long ones sticking to them.
Nope it won't hurt you. Whats to hurt? The feathers have been cooked as long as the piece of chicken its attached to so any bacteria is killed.
Not to appetizing but not dangerous either.

No. My grandparents used to raise chickens for their own dinner table. Whomever was supposed to pluck it didn't do a good job. But it's most likely as clean & and as safe to eat as the other parts of the chicken you were served. It must be annoying to get it on the plate.

i would say it is harmful. birds are the dirtiest creatures. and most of their nastyness is in their feathers... i think.

The feathers are not harmful, they are just unappetizing for people who aren't used to them.

it sounds like they didnt do a good job processing it, so i wouldnt ever eat there again, in fact id call the health department

no
