Will eating meat that's a week past the expiration date do anything?!

Question: Will eating meat that's a week past the expiration date do anything?
My husband and I are trying to eat healthier, and so yesterday he picked up some trimmed pork tenderloin. I plan to cook it tomorrow, but I notice today that the expiration date is six days ago. Should I go ahead and cook it since I paid $8 for only that one pound of meat (pricey imo). Or will it taste badly, or make us sick?

Answers:

Was it refrigerated or frozen??

Cook it and see what happens or take it back to the store!
Why did they sell expired meats??

You should not eat it! you will most likely get food poisoning form it. What you need to do is take it back to the store a ask for your money back!

even though by knowing expiration date you should not proceed further , if you do so ,its results in food poisoning , think before you ink

god bless you

smell it if it is bad see you can take it back to the store
if it smells ok go ahead and cook it now

Naw dont eat it. Two or three days after the expiration date is ok..... but a whole week! Nope dont eat it.... thats gross.
