Call your vet. They should have a doc on call.

My dog did this once only to find out it wasn't a big deal for a small amount of milk chocoate. Dark chocolate is what isn't good for dogs.

How much chocolate was in this bunny? If it was less than half a pound, the dog will probably be fine. Unless it was semi-sweet chocolate, the slightly bitter kind, there isn't usually enough chocolate in something like this to bother a dog that size. You can call your vet if you really think there's a reason to worry, you can look up "dogs and chocolate" to see how much of what kind of chocolate is poisonous to a 55 lb dog, and if he ate too much chocolate within the last hour or so, you can give the dog hydrogen peroxide or dry mustard mixed with water to make him throw up. Give him water, if anything. NO benadryl unless the vet says so.

Call your vet right away. You may need to take your dog in to get it checked out. Do this as soon as possible before your dog digests too much of the chocolate. Good luck
