Try using Fondant, it's a frosting but comes in tons of colors and you can shape it into anything you want and when its hardened it is like candy they use it for a lot of the decorations on cakes when they want to have real detail but still pliable and edible and you can control it's texture. Hope it helps i know ive seen it in little rolls at Walmart in that soft pink color like the facial features your trying.

make gummy lips! that would be cool. Also you could try pretty much anything for the eyes. Peanut butter mms, milk duds, etc...
