How long does a bag of Doritos last after the expiration date?!

Question: How long does a bag of Doritos last after the expiration date?
I work at my school's student store. We have nacho cheese and cool ranch doritos individual bags that expired on November 16th. Are they still good enough to be sold at full price?

Keep chips in the freezer it makes them fresher and last longer beyond the ex. date. I keep all chips in my freezer.

They are probably safe to eat but should not be sold - expiration dates are the end date of guaranteed freshness - some companies also call them sell by dates.

Three months is a long time for corn chips to go past their expiration date; they have a fairly limited shelf life and are usually sold/consumed within a few months of production.

sold at full price: they good til expired/sell by date. Good to eat? Maybe 3 to 4 months after date. it depends on the seal on package . Sometimes fresh shipments go stale before opening. I stock in a grocery store and pull out of date all the time. Some things go to the bargain cart so we can get some money back, depends on what it is. In your case, open one and taste. If stale throw out if not 1/2 price.

does anyone read the other post or do thier own searches???
the dates on packages "expiration date" iIS A EAT BEFORE DATE for MAXIMUM FRESHNESS & FLAVOR" NOT SPOILAGE
you should how ever lower the price since it is not a "fresh" product anymore...manufactures delivery personel would replace them...not for being bad but for freshness

Shouldnt be selling them. Give them away, if people want to eat them, let them.

Its Feb.... Way too late to be selling them at all.. Should be tossed...

They will still be good to eat.

at the date
