anyone ever put pumpkin in the freezer?!

Question: Anyone ever put pumpkin in the freezer?
I have a huge can of pure pumpkin that I don't need all at once. Does anyone know if pumpkin tastes the same after it thaws from being in the freezer for a month or so?
Don't worry; I'll remove it from the can.

Answers:

It will be good, just put into airtight containers.

Yes it is okay to put pumpkin puree in the freezer for a month or even two. The taste should not be noticeably different.

And yes indeed please take the puree out of the can.
