Question: Is a fruit smoothie good for breakfast?
im 15, 120kgs and im trying to loose weight and i was wondering is a fruit smoothie good for breakfast e.g. a banana, some strawberries and some more fruit and a little bit of milk is this healthy or just toast or cereal?

Toast or a cereal like cornflakes that are low in fats and sugar, add some fruit to that.

You need to use something that has some good protein in it. The protein will kind of offset the sugars in the fruit.



I would try a low-fat or fat-free milk. And also, be careful what fruit you use. Some aren't as healthy as others.

A smoothie wouldn't be my first choice, but I don't really see a problem with it.
