What should I bring on a picnic lunch?!

Question: What should I bring on a picnic lunch?
This Friday I am planning a big date day for my boyfriend's birthday. Basically we are having a picnic lunch in the park, going on a local brewery tour and tasting and then having a nice late dinner. I'm taking him out for dinner and it's probably going to be seafood or a steakhouse type of place.

What should I get or make for the lunch?

Answers:

Get a 50-piece bucket of KFC extra crispy.

A picnic basket of corse! But be ware of Yogi bear he will try to steal it! Haha just some assorted sandwiches avoid things that need refrigeration because whatever you don't eat might be in the car for a long time if you don't plan on going home in between events! paper plates and plastic ware are essential... Maybe some meat to grill but only what will be eaten... Again u don't want it in the car for too long!

BBQ chicken and salads is usually a good bet. You could make potato salad, cole slaw and/or pasta salad, then pick up a half-bbq chicken from a grocery store or rotisserie place. It works hot or cold.

Potato salad always goes down a treat at picnics. Strawberries are also good (: And maybe make some fairy cakes or something?

Something not too heavy.
Cheese and sausage plate with crackers
spinach pie (the Greek style made with phyllo dough)
Greek salad
white wine.

favorit sandwiches
apple or grapes
bottles of your favorit drink
