How much salad dressing do you like on your salad?!

Question: How much salad dressing do you like on your salad?
The recommended serving size of dressing is only half of a ladle. Do you feel that is too little or too much?

Answers:

I dunk my salad into salad dressing :-)

I actually have a little bowl at my house that I keep for my salad dressing. So then I have my plate of salad, then a bowl of salad dressing right next to it. I dunk my salad into my dressing
Sounds different, I know, lol. At home, I usually only do this if I didn't make the salad/dressing. When I go out to eat, it depends. But if I haven't really ever been to the restaurant and I don't know how their food is and it's not too fancy, I ask for dressing on the side :-)

Unnecessarily long paragraph to write about salad dressing, oh well, goodday :-)

If you mean a soup ladle, that seems too much but if it's for a large bowl of salad, not individual servings it might be okay. If it's thick mayonnaise, I don't use a lot & just stir it through. I don't worry if it's a vinegar based dressing with no oil. That I just pour on until everything's covered. Lettuce & some other greens seem bland to me without it.

I am a dressing fiend. I love salad dressing so I alway put too much on it. and with your question it depends on the size of the salad. I put about 1/8 of cup.

I like the perfect ratio, he leaves shouldn't be swimming in dressing, but I should be able to see it and correctly guess the flavor

depends on the ladle and the size of the salad but i would rather have to much i don't like it dry.
