What is your favourite place to eat out?!

Question: What is your favourite place to eat out?
Answers:

Imli, a great Indian tapas place

When I first arrived in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri (AKA Lost in the Woods), I was concerned about finding good places to eat. When you're new in town, the familiar chains look pretty good. I've been so fortunate! We have very few chains, but we have the best locally owned restaurants! I can get fantastic barbecue, sushi, Korean deliciousness, German food, burgers with a big old slab of onion, steaks cooked rare and fantastic pizza and everything is fairly priced. If you come, try the hummus. It's amazing!

We have a lot of good places in my area. There's Biba in downtown Sacramento http://www.biba-restaurant.com/ if you want Italian, Tex Wasabi (Guy Fieri's place) on Arden if you want something a little funkier/unexpected http://www.texwasabis.com/food/food.html the Firehouse in Old Sac if you want standard "fancy schmancy" fare http://www.firehouseoldsac.com/ and the always-popular Thai Basil for, of course, Thai food. http://www.thaibasilrestaurant.com/

I can be found lurking at any of those places if I want to go out for a meal and know it will ALWAYS be outstanding and worth the cost. However, if I'm just hungry, by myself and not in the mood to cook, I will always, always, always pick Bobo Cafe, a tiny Vietnamese place. It's cheap, it's tasty and that is one type of food I just don't cook at home. I am completely in love with their food. They know to always bring me extra fish sauce and hot sauce for my rice, too. I'm there so often they know me by sight.

I used to love Nandos when I lived in London, I used to go to the one at Fulham Broadway a lot. I even went there last week during a day out at the football (wasted valuable drinking time) so I'll have to say Nandos

The Dive Bar, 96th Street and Amsterdam Avenue. I'm going there today for the Seafood Mac'n'Cheese. Shrimp, salmon and scallop macaroni and cheese topped with flying fish roe and chives. Yum yum yum!

Don Pablos. I get the veggie burritos. They are so good. I also have a Chinese restaurant near me where I like to get stir fried vegetables.

Some thing's fishy. that's the name of the restaurant. it'a this great place where they cook your food in front of you.

Nandos but my husband say too expensive there are inexpensive restaurants similar.

Wiedikhers. It is a restaurant at the winery of the same name.
