Americans!! English chocolate...? Views please!?!
I've heard recently that American chocolate isn't that great, and I was wondering if you think this is true or not.
Also, what do you think of English chocolate, if you've tried it?
And lastly, are these available in the US?
-Cadbury's dairy milk
-Cadbury's flake
-Crunchie bars
-Galaxy bars
-Rowntree's wine gums?
Any help is appreciated! Thank you very much! :-)
Answers:
I have a hard time finding chocolate I dislike. We have Cadbury here in the US but we don't have the flake. I've heard it's good. I love their fruit and nut milk chocolate bars. I've had crunchie bars and they are amazing. They are similar to our butterfinger bars but not as dense and they have like a honey flavor instead of a peanut flavor, but the texture is somewhat similar.
I've heard of wine gums but I don't think I've tried them. I didn't even think that was chocolate. Aren't they gummy candies?
Like I said I have a heck of a time finding choclate I don't like. Hershey bars are ok. They're just kind of ordinary. I like Lindt and Girhadeli (idk how to spell either of those) but they are both European I think. I really like Harry and David choclate bars. That is a small company here in the US so they are hard to come by. Dove chocolate is also very good.
Chocolate is chocolate but its kind of like you get what you pay for. If you have ever compared hot chocolate made with milk vs. made with water, it's similar to chocolates. Some is better than others but I think it is brand and price related.
mostly all chocolate is good/decent. the mass produced chocolates aren't anything special but if you go to a smaller chocolate business they'll have amazing chocolate more than likely
have not heard of the last 4. would be something for new product out here in the u.s for everyone to try who likes chocolate/candy
