Seven Months ago, someone posted the question "Where did chili fries originate". I have the answer.?!

I created them in 1972. In a little diner in Ft. Smith, Arkansas called "Portas". Everything on the menu was really good so I always had a hard time deciding what to order. One day I took my cup of chili and dumped it on my fries. A customer next to me at the counter ask what I was eating and I replied "Chili Fries". He ask the cook for the same thing and loved it. After that everytime I went into Portas I ordered 'chili fries'. One day I went in and they were on the menu! What a nice surprise. Word traveled and today...chili fries are everywhere. My name is Jim Jordan and I created Chili Fries!
