Anyone who attributes all the evils of the world to the eating of the fruit of knowledge is full of crap.

1. You'd think that an omniscient being such as God would know what was going on in the garden and knew that his creation would get into the fruit and do something to stop him.

2. Never is it mentioned that Satan (Lucifer, Phil the prince of insufficient light, whatever) was the one that got Eve to sample the fruit. Only that it was the serpent in the garden. Never in the bible or in apocryphal texts was the serpent named.

3. Adam and Eve were pitched out not as a punishment, but to prevent them from going after the fruit of the tree of immortality.

Honestly, I'm of the opinion that if the story were literal, then God never intended for mankind to reside forever in the garden, but that at some point we were to grow up and leave the nest to hold dominion of the world that was created for us.

After all, it is written that we were to have dominion over the animals of the Earth. It's kinda hard to do that if we were not given intelligence and knowledge.

Clearly you didn't understand that the fruit wasn't simply fruit. It gave us the knowledge of good and evil and made us all accountable for our actions. Also, no Christian says that Adam and Eve eating that fruit is the reason why there was some earthquake or any other natural disaster. Stuff happens, that's life. Deal with it and take your ignorant, arrogant atheistic hate elsewhere.

It was from the Tree of Knowledge, and given this knowledge they saw the world through their own eyes and immediately copulated. God wanted them never to look through the world except through what he allowed them to. Point is, ancient (and in some cases modern) Christianity is repressive and the apple is a metaphor.

It's just a view you shouldn't get all worked up angry over it because then you sound ignorant( ignorant meaning you still don't know much about it and nieve to the subject) if it doesn't affect you then don't even bother asking it because t you will sound like that to Certain people so if you really want to kno go and read a bible? Because it's sounds like you get very angry and bitter over this subject and it's only a point of view to other people. Honestly because none of those beliefs even affect u so just live without getting yourself so worked up your just going to get yourself wrinkles haha

Its not literal, its symbolic.
The basic message is: Do not be tempted to stray from God by material things, if he asked you not ignore them. Because it shows weakness

I am christian. No way do i think everything is down to that. God has other reasons

It's because they were told not to eat a spefic type of fruit let's call it an apple. Now they had only 1 rule don't eat the apples. And they broke that one rule so ha it wasn't the fruit it was disobeying they one thong they were told not to do.

They disobeyed God. That is the definition of sin, and it opened the door for the devil and the evil he causes; although natural disasters are just that. Natural shifts, actions, and reactions as the world keeps spinning.

I wasn't there at the time, but I believe that when Adam and Eve discovered they were different, particularly below the waist, the fruit they had was the pleasure of mutual orgasm.

The point you are missing is that Adam and eve happened around 5000 years ago! Dinosaur anyone?

The one and ONLY rule they were given and they could not obey....

Dude... really?
