Yogurt is a great source of calcium. Yogurt replaces important cultures that could be killed off if you have been on antibiotics. I am a vegetarian, so I use yogurt as a source of protein. I add non-fat greek yogurt it to my morning smoothies.
Apart from being a good source of calcium and protein, like most dairy, it's not really great. Milk always has a lot of hormones in it, so I rather eat fruit or vegetables from good sources.
