If your local supermarket does not have much demand for organic produce, it is not a wise business decision for them to take shelf/cooler space away from their in-demand products just to stock items few people will want, and which have a very short shelf life.
You can ask your local market, but don't expect much in the way of results unless there are a lot of other people in your area who would also be interested.
You can definitely request it. If it ends up not working out, you might consider buying extra produce when you do go to the organic market and freeze most of it. It'll last longer then :)
Sorry, I can't relate with your situation. Maybe you should move, or make a request with that supermarket.
