Too much for breakfast?!

Question: Too much for breakfast?
I had two bowls of special K cereal and two blueberry muffins for breakfast.
Do you think that sounds like too much?
Thanks

Answers:

well once bowl of cereal is considered to be a serving... as is a muffin.

I would have maybe had one bowl or one muffin with a side of fresh fruit, or a yogurt.

Depends on your bowl. Most people have twice the recommended cereal serving anyway (one serving is supposed to be 30g, which is nothing) If your bowl was large and filled high both times. That's quite a lot. Especially if you used high fat milk.
But the muffins are bad, saturated fat full, and sugary. Two of those along are too much for breakfast.

Special k is high in fructose corn syrup, it's not as good as they make out. You may as well eat coco pops.

So overall, yes.

In future have one bowl of cereal with a piece of fruit or wholegrain toast. Or if you must have a muffin just go for one.

No that's normal. You should chech Michael Phelps breakfast:

Three fried-egg sandwiches loaded with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, fried onions and mayonnaise two cups of coffee
a five-egg omele
a bowl of grits
three slices of French toast topped with powdered sugar
three chocolate-chip pancakes
3 cups of coffee.

Well it really depends on your size and gender. What does the nutritional information tell you? As for the breakfast itself...too much sugar. Try something like oatmeal, toast, maybe eggs.

me myself and I

Maybe too much of the wrong thing. Breakfast is important but that is a lot of sugar to start off with; you should try to eat some protein in the morning because it gets your metabolism going!

Maybe not too much, just the wrong things.A good healthy breakfast should be high in protein and low in carbs.
