whats the healthiest chinese food?!

Question: Whats the healthiest chinese food?
sweet and sour chicken or chicken lo main?
whats healthiest out of the two?
they both come with fried rice too.

Answers:

Lo Main i would think, as the chicken in S&S is normally deep fried and the sauce is loaded with sugar..

Most chinese restaurants have steamed options for most items. You can always pick that if you want to avoid extra fat and calories.

In general....

Steamed rice is lower cal than fried rice.

Most veggie entrees are fairly low cal (green beans, etc.)

Look for entrees in which the meat/fish/chicken is not breaded and fried. For example, broccoli beef is lower cal than orange beef

Soups tend to be low cal and you can often get a bowl of soup instead of an entree

Ask your server how an item is prepared; they are usually very helpful.

Both r really good...lo mein has got a healthy bit of carbohydrates as well, whereas, SnS is pure protein with some veggies adding minerals to the food.

Of all chinese food I consider DimSum the healthiest. Its mostly steamed even the filling is non oily....and they come in a wide variety.

Chinese fried rice is so easy and cheap to make. Saute onion and chopped up celery in oil then add cooked rice, soy sauce to desired taste, peas and an egg or two...cook till egg is cooked through....I think that's pretty healthy....

Chicken fried rice, it gives you a good source of meat, grains, and vegtables, It is an all around good meal to eat!

Almost all chinese food is healthy. Maybe that's why all chinese have shiny black hair.

I am chinese.

Chicken Low mein for sure. Sweet and Sour chicken is usually fried with batter first and then slathered with sauce.

If you don't make it yourself, it's not healthy.

Buy healthy things and go for it.

RICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

brown rice
