How do you think shark rates in comparison to cod and haddock?!

Question: How do you think shark rates in comparison to cod and haddock?
I had to experience it when a friend took me to to the local fish shop near to where they film home and away!! it wasnt anything out of this world, in fact i think i still prefer cod, but it was good to try something new.

in portugal they cook the best sardines ever, huge big ones, boney but very crisp to eat and goes down well with a glass of mateus rose!!

Answers:

It isn't as good as Haddock and Cod, but it is a good fish to eat.
Numerous types of fish are sold at the fish shops but go by other names, as numerous people will not use them solely because of the name.

SHark is much oilier in taste. It also has a much different texture. I think of cod and haddock as fish & chip types of fish, where shark is much too oily and dark for that. It's like the apples and orange theory of the sea.

You can't beat haddock, monkfish, plaice or kippers.

different thing really - shark more like meat than fish in my opinion
