is it dangerous to drink acohol if you haven't ate all day?!

Question: Is it dangerous to drink acohol if you haven't ate all day?
is there a risk of overdose if someone drinks on an empty stomach who also only eats a small portion of food at night?

Answers:

There is a risk of overdose no matter what's in your system or stomach. Although it affects you more if your on an empty or low stomach than it normally would.

It can make you sick, and I find it gets you a little more drunk. Which is great if you're a heavy weight like me, coz usually I get drunk very slowly, but If I don't eat before or during party, I get drunk much faster without drinking as much... And I've never been sick, which is weird. Although the hangovers are much worse than if you eat and drink together, I find. Anyway, if you don't do it too often, I'm sure it isn't dangerous. Everything in moderation :p :)

No, if you drink sensibly. You will become drunk quicker if there is no food to obstruct it. So do not drink as much as you normally would if you had a full stomach. If you drink too much over a short period of time you can get alcohol poisoning which I guess is an overdose so you will die. My niece's father was drunk and started cooking himself something to eat, he left the fry pan on the gas cooker, forgot it and a fire started and he died so do not cook while drunk.

It's not necessarily dangerous, you just have to be more cautious. When you drink on an empty stomach, there's no food to slow the absorption into the body. So, alcohol gets absorbed faster and you get drunk quicker.

Depending on your metabolism and how much you drink, you might be risking an overdose. It will almost certainly make you sick.

If you drink too much it may upset your stomach
