I know a little about Nutella and why so good, is that it contains chocolate and hazelnuts. It also contains other ingredients, but the sweet taste comes from the mostly from the chocolate and hazelnuts.
As to why, it had been rumored, because of a shortage of chocolate and/or taxes on chocolate, that the creator added hazelnuts to the mix and from that came Nutella.
You mean you didn't eat it straight from the jar sometimes?
