I am interested in it for its variety of flavor, the skill required to make certain dishes, health,sharing, and a way of spending time with a loved one.
O dunno. I hate eating food. But I love shopping for food. Baking. Cooking. Reading recipes. Coming up with new recipes.
It's fun. When I cook or bake, I just think about that. Getting the measurements right, cutting the carrots or peeling the potatoes or whisking the cream. I'm focused on it. So I don't have to think about my life. Cus my life really sucks.
So I think it's that. And it's fun to be creative and use my hands. And even though I don't like eating, I do like tasting a small bit at the end!!
It's interesting to see the biological connection between food and human survival, not just other human requirements such as shelter and water.

Because I'll die without it. Kinda makes it an important part of my life.
