What do you eat and drink when you have food poisoning?!

Question: What do you eat and drink when you have food poisoning?
Answers:

If you can keep down Emergen-C, have a few packets of that. Apple juice is good too, because it settles the stomach. Also, oyster crackers (preferably salted) or saltines are great because there's sodium in them (you lose a lot of sodium when you throw up). I'm so sorry, I hope you feel better. :)

I wouldn't drink Emergen-C - too much vitamin C will upset your stomach even more.

The biggest problem with food poisoning (or any type of stomach flu) is you get dehydrated.

Drink water. Small sips. Don't chug.

Gatorade, or apple juice is OK too. I've also found ginger ale or Sprite/7-Up is also good.

My mom used to make jello with twice the water as called for on the box. The result would be a sort of drinkable gel which we'd have as a special treat while sick. (years later, and "gel drinks" would become all the rage - now you can make them at home yourself...)

But above all, drink water.

If you feel you can eat something, start with some simple toast and jelly. Mom used to give us kids scrambled eggs too but I don't know if that's such a good idea. (but I still eat scrambled eggs when I get sick...it's a habit now.)

Just drink water, but have some diluted gatorade or pediasure (stuff with electrolytes) ready.

Drink water and if hungry, eat soup and noodles. Stuff like ramen and drink water with it.

Nothing
