How do you describe the taste of salt?!

Question: How do you describe the taste of salt?
Answers:

dry, slightly bitter, slightly sour, sweetless, (yea i just said sweetless, you have my permission to use it) and good. then I'd explain that it's the only thing that tastes like it. Same principle of how lamb doesn't taste like beef. It tastes like lamb and that's it. That and if you mix it with food it makes the food taste better.

tangy, lacking of taste, bitter, sour, non-flavorful. Sorry its a little hard without saying "Salty!"

Uh well it's kind of sour but not really sour just a little and it just tastes salty it's hard to explain

Its really really sweet,

bitter
