does pre-prepped lettuce in a plastic bag have a funny taste?!

To me, it's bigger crime is that it doesn't have much taste. Or its not as crisp. Or something. It's OK, it's just not as good as fresh lettuce I've washed and torn apart myself.

I have not tried just plain head lettuce, but I like the others such as the Italian. Always buy the pre-washed types. By the way, they only last for a few days and then you need to throw them away.
