Question: If I take a Ham and cheese sandwhich to school today unrefrigerated will it be okay to eat in about 4-5 hour?
?

Answers:

ham is preserved with salt & smoke... takes extended periods unrefrigerated to go bad
cheese also has a fairly good shelf life.

unless you are using mayo or another egg-based dressing, it should be safe. if you want a topping, i would go with a nice mustard.

I did it all the time when I was a kid, and never got sick. Made my lunch around 7-7:30 am, ate it around noon.
These days, if I buy a footlong at Subway for dinner and only eat half, I take the other half out of the fridge around 7, put it in my insulated lunch bag, and eat it around 11:30-12. No problem.

Yes of course it will. Whenever I go on holiday (or just simply out for the day) I make ham and cheese sandwiches at the breakfast buffet table (!) then bag them up and carry around all over the place with me until such times as I feel peckish. Wrapped properly they'll last a good twelve hours or more

yea, people do it all the time

of course it will be OK.

U will b fine

Nope. In that amount of time, it will rot. Attracting over a billion parasites. You will die.
